Red Dead Online Players Protest Rockstar Games By Dressing Like Clowns

Spread the love

Red Dead Online, the popular game of Rockstar Games, has been a fun action lately. Players dress their characters like clowns and hope Rockstar Games gets the message.

Over the past few days, Red Dead Online players have replaced their character designs with clown outfits to protest the lack of major updates to the game. In different parts of the Red Dead universe, players with clown masked characters join forces to invade towns, hijack trains and otherwise explain. But the players say that they do everything in a fun way.

Players protesting Rockstar Games in this way may be right, because Red Dead Online hasn’t received any major updates in months, and Rockstar Games hasn’t released any details as to when a major update is coming.

While there have been complaints about the lack of updates on Reddit and other platforms in recent weeks, more complaints began to pile up earlier this month when the Red Dead Fashion community said their July theme was Travel Circus. Asking Red Dead Online players to dress their characters differently each month to win fashion competitions, the group chose the July theme because “we’re all clowns to get a big update,” he said.

It’s unknown why Rockstar didn’t announce any major Red Dead Online updates and didn’t explain the recent clown protests. The company also did not respond to messages sent by players.

However, the company may have no choice but to respond in the coming days. Because players have announced plans to hold a clown-themed cross-platform protest on Monday, July 20, to amplify the protests. Details are unknown at this time, but on Tuesday, July 14, the player-run Red Dead Online Community announced that information will be shared over the weekend on how the event will be held via its Twitter account.
