Metal Slug, one of the oldest productions of the game world, will appear again soon. A new game is being developed for Metal Slug, SNK’s iconic series. Call of Duty: Mobile will be developed by the studio behind Arena of Valor and the recently announced Pokemon Unite.
The new Metal Slug game doesn’t have a name yet, but it’s been announced as Metal Slug Code: J for now.
The released trailer for Metal Slug showcases the action with key changes that include updated graphics, a new ice-throwing weapon, and onscreen controls. In addition to all this, there are also areas full of shops and NPCs.
SNK is developing a mobile game for Metal Slug for the first time since the first game in the series was first released in 1996. SNK will work with TiMi Studios, a subsidiary of Tencent Games, one of the most successful companies in recent years, for this game.
“Metal Slug has an incredible amount of action and history, so we’re proud to bring it to mobile gamers all over the world,” said SNK’s game producer Yasuyuki in a statement.
“Our team is focused on a gameplay style with the classic shooting style that is easily accessible for new and existing fans of the game,” said Winco Qin, general manager of TiMi J1.
We will share with you new developments related to the game.
