Linkin Park’s Mike Shinoda Is Writing A Song For Gamescom 2020

This year’s Gamescom will be held virtually like many other major events. New details about the event continue to come. The show will kick off with an Opening Night event hosted by Geoff Keighley, and it has been confirmed that the original theme song to be played on opening night was composed by Linkin Park’s Mike Shinoda.

Shinoda will be writing this song live on Twitch, and the tweet announcing it will collaborate with commenters. The songwriting event will take place on Shinoda’s Twitch channel on August 12.

Gamescom Opening Night will take place on August 27. The start of Gamescom 2020, but the end of Keighley’s Summer Games Festival. This will be an event featuring developer interviews and news events.
