These numbers are still much lower compared to Sony’s sequel to first-party games. When The Last of Us: Part II was released in June, it sold more than 4 million copies in its first three days, surpassing Marvel’s Spider-Man, which sold 3.3 million copies in the same period. Spider-Man: Miles Morales will be released later this year, while Horizon Forbidden West will arrive in 2021.
